Dolly Parton was born on the 19th of January 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She lived with 12 other children. Her vivid imagination was a great way to get away from the savage realities of daily life. The songs she wrote were composed before she could read or write. When she was 8 when she bought the first electric guitar. Then she began to sing at a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. That same year she made her debut recording for Gold Band Records a tiny independent label. The singer established a name for herself locally while still in the high school system, but she wanted to be on of performing on a bigger stage. After graduating high school in 1964, she swiftly made the move to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. Porter Wagoner had been looking for a female performer for his show that was syndicated until this point. Parton was appointed in the year 1967 she signed with RCA Records by 1968, she joined the Grand Ole Opry. In 1974, she quit the show because of the success of her singles like Joshua Coats in Many Colors or Jolene was surpassing their joint albums. Parton After the dissolution of their relationship with Wagoner She wrote her hit song"I Will Never Love You and had it reach Number. The first time it made it to No. 1 was 1974.
