Liz and Emily

Liz Vassey started her career acting at the age of nine. She has appeared in over 50 plays and musicals. at the age of 16 she made the decision to move to New York in order to become a part of the team of All My Children. In recognition of her work and performance, she was awarded a Daytime Emmy. Since then, Liz made guest appearances as a regular or recurring actor on twelve television shows. These include ER Maximum Bob Necessary Roughness Brotherly Love Push Nevada Two and a Half Men Live action on FOX's adaptation from The Tick and most recently Season Two of the reboot of The Tick on Amazon. She is most likely best known for her five year stint as the DNA technology Wendy Simms of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Additionally, Liz was in several films and pilots and has guest-starred on several different television shows. Liz's career is not only in acting but also as a writer. She was a writer on the last season of CSI, and sold the show to 6 television pilots, one TV movie and other projects. They're currently in development stage at NBC Freeform Universal Netflix The CW and a variety of other networks. Liz who has been a long-time athlete recently debuted as director on the feature documentary The Human Race which has launched. The documentary is a look at older runners. Liz Emmerichs and their husband David Emmerich reside in Hollywood, California. They have a brood that includes way too many animals as well as their kids. The actress also appeared as an mermaid in Flight of the Conchords, and in the Shana Sosin-directed movie The Rift.
